Preston North End have completed the capture of Scunthorpe United's Player of the Year, Paul Hayes.
The 26-year-old has agreed terms on a three-year-deal at Deepdale after becoming available under the Bosman ruling.
Hayes has been one of the Championship's top performers this season, scoring 13 goals and providing countless assists for one of the division's top scorers, Gary Hooper.
The striker was recently crowned Player of the Year at Glanford Park, enjoying his second spell at the club following time at Norwich, Barnsley and Huddersfield.
Speaking exclusively to PNE Player the Londoner said: "I am very pleased to have this deal done, it has been in the press and kicking around for a long time and I am very pleased to be here now.
"The manager sold it to me. I've had a few meetings with managers from other clubs but as soon as I got here he has welcomed me and my family and the manager, Darren Ferguson sold it to me.
"The Club is very ambitious, with a very ambitious manager and I am at that point in my career where I need to push on with my career. I am hoping that this is the Club to take my career forward."
